  • What is a C&I BESS and where is it used?

    A Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage System (C&I BESS) is designed for peak shaving, demand charge reduction, backup power, and solar self-consumption. Typical use cases include factories & industrial parks, commercial buildings, data centers, telecom sites, EV charging hubs, and microgrids.

  • How do I size the power (kW) and energy (kWh) for a C&I ESS?

    Sizing depends on your project goal:

    • Peak shaving / demand management: required discharge kW and duration kWh

    • Backup power: critical load kW × backup time hours
      To recommend a configuration, we usually need: load profile (15/30-min), peak demand, target backup time, PV/GEN integration, and grid requirements.

  • Air-cooled vs. liquid-cooled C&I storage cabinet—how to choose?

    • Air-cooled all-in-one cabinet: simple structure and straightforward maintenance for many standard sites

    • Liquid-cooled all-in-one cabinet: more stable temperature control, often preferred for hot climates, high utilization, or longer lifetime expectations
      If your site has high ambient temperature, dust, noise limits, or 24/7 operation, liquid cooling is usually the safer choice.

  • Can the system work with solar PV, generators, or microgrids?

    Yes. C&I BESS is commonly deployed for PV + Storage, microgrid applications, and hybrid setups with grid + generator. Systems can integrate EMS for scheduling and control, and support common interfaces such as RS485/CAN/Ethernet/Modbus (project-dependent).

  • What safety features should I look for in a C&I ESS?

    Key checks include LFP battery chemistry (common choice for safety), BMS protection logic, thermal management (air/liquid), electrical protections (overcurrent/short-circuit/insulation), enclosure protection rating, and optional fire detection & suppression integration. Compliance documents can be provided via the Download Center or upon request.

  • What documents can I download and what information is needed for a quotation?

    You can typically download datasheets, manuals, technical parameters, and certificates/test reports from the Download Center. For a faster quotation, provide target application, required kW/kWh, grid type, site environment (indoor/outdoor), and any local compliance requirements.
